Major Jason P. Lowery changed how Bitcoin is understood. A U.S. Space Force officer and astronautical engineer, he now serves as Special Assistant to the Commander of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command. Through his MIT thesis, Softwar, Lowery presented Bitcoin as far more than digital money or a speculative investment. Proof-of-work connects cyberspace to physical reality by transforming energy into security. Bitcoin therefore becomes strategic infrastructure capable of protecting digital property and strengthening national sovereignty. For centuries, power was projected across land, sea, air and space. Lowery identified cyberspace as the next strategic domain—one in which energy, hash power and Bitcoin will influence the global balance of power. The nations that understand this shift will gain a decisive advantage. Accumulating Bitcoin and securing its network is not simply an investment strategy; it is preparation for a future built on scarce, decentralized and incorruptible digital property.
